Simpler client portal authentication
- Client portal login refactored to use central login flow instead of separate portal authentication - Removed duplicated login logic from client portal controller - Simplified the Authenticate middleware to always redirect to main login route - Changed client portal account closure and logout to use central login route

v3.4Reduced default API limit in notifications
- Notification API responses now return only 3 items instead of 50 for better performance - Users can still retrieve full notifications through the interface when needed
Shell and navigation polish
- Logo links to the practice dashboard; search is available on mobile - Client switcher lists all engaged clients when working in a workspace - Legacy portfolio routes redirect to the correct new destinations
Dashboard and sign out from public pages
- Dashboard access and sign-out fixed when browsing public pages
Changelog entries now show the actual time of the latest update
- Unreleased changelog entries now use the real git commit timestamp instead of always showing 12:00

Maintenance page on restricted hosting
- Platform maintenance no longer crashes when the server blocks shell commands - CPU usage shows as unavailable instead of causing an error when core count cannot be detected - Database backups still work via the built-in fallback when mysqldump is unavailable
Queue jobs listed on maintenance
- The maintenance errors screen now lists each job waiting in the queue, not just the count - You can see the job name, queue, status, and when it was queued
Accurate error timestamps on maintenance
- Error summaries now show when each error type last occurred, not a placeholder time
Shared authorisation check for maintenance tools
- All maintenance tools now use a single, consistent authorisation check instead of duplicating role checks in each controller
